IT'S BEEN A MONTH (Canada Trip)
Well you fancies, I took a small time off to enjoy this summer. I was lucky enough to take a 3 day adventure with my two favorite people. We booked a bus tour for 3 days to Canada. It was the most affordable trip within my budget. I took lots of pictures, here's a recap.
There's us waiting for the bus not for long though, we only waited 20 minutes. We heard "BADMAN" and on we went. Apparently we had Badman as a tour guide and Phillip was our driver. The bus was great! Nice and clean, lots of space. We even had outlets to plug our phones to charge!
First stop we grabbed a bit of Mcdonald's. Not such a good choice. I ordered a Mcflurry and we ate in this little green area.
Back on the bus we went and took a snooze.
We awoke in Watkins Glen to hike down the mountain and meet the bus there. But first had to steal some pretty flowers! The water trails were breath taking. Can you spot ally?
After 2 hours of sweaty foreheads and 3 different hairstyles we made it to the bottom. We then jumped back on the bus to make our way across the border.
Officers checked our documents and we drove right into a food rest stop. Grab some lunch and watched a native water show. Very interesting little show, but not the best.
This last photo has to be one of my favorites, but it also shows how we felt about their food. Not recommended!
Back on the bus we went to get to our hotel for the night. We was informed that we must be back on the bus at 7 am for our IMAX show before the boat ride. We dropped off our bags, went for a late night swim, & grabbed some dinner. Even though it poured we had fun.
At 7am we headed straight to the theater. The Imax movie took me by surprise we learned the stories of the falls, which got me a bit nervous, knowing we were going on the boat ride right after.
The boat was huge and we got soaked. The falls was seriously breath taking!
Once the boat was docked, we took the elevator up to the Skylon Tower. We had a buffet waiting for us overlooking the falls. The food was very yummy and by far the best we ate on the entire trip.
Our filled tummies headed back on the bus to take a nap and head to Toronto.
Wakie Wakie! Badman then escorted us around Toronto, which I thought was very modern. We got to visit the CN Tower (largest tower ever built).
A bit of walking and a chai later, we were booked for another boat trip to visit the Island on Lake Ontario. Snapped a picture in the captain's quarters. Ha!
2 Hours Later we were making our way to Chinatown, where we got to do a little shopping and grab some dinner to wrap up our day.
Last Morning, we were extremely exhausted. Our grumpy faces drove to our last activity in Thousand Island. Another boat ride! We ate breakfast on the boat and saw an ancient castle. Last but not least we grabbed some Tim Hortons, couldn't leave Canada without having some, and drove back home.
hope you all enjoy your summer!
